A walk in Robertson Quay

Initially wanna go Orchard Rd shopping. Suddenly dear wanted to go to Robertson Quay to taste the famous chocolate pastry Canele Patisserie Chocolaterie(saw a lot of reviews in TV and magazines). This posh restaurant located at Robertson Walk (they just opened a branch at Paragon), has a great ambience. The pastries on display were so tempting that you just gonna have it right away! Quite a number of expat came in to buy for their families and friends. The restaurant just made you feel that you are like the rich man...hahahaha. We ordered 1 Strawberry Profitero and a Gateaux Chocolat-Ind. For the strawberry, the taste was so-so, not really fantastic I have hoped for. But for the chocolate, the taste was just right. It's not so sweet and the taste of the chocolate was so smoothing. The only complain I have, they don't serve water. Maybe they want you to buy their beverages and get more money from you. The price wasn't so expensive as we might expected. About $5 - $9 for a piece of art..hehehe...

We then went to nearby TCC for another round of chill-up...As usual, I ordered my favourite drink, Sea of Gold! hahahaha..

This piece of junk, oops..I meant art cost SGD$4.2k...

Nice ambience

For those who drives, you can park your car in UE Square, only $1 per entry from 1300 - 2300 on Sat. Wanna to take a walk along the Singapore River, too bad the weather wasn't on our side. So we went to Orchard walk walk and had our dinner.

Since the time was still early, we went to Jalan Kayu ta bao roti prata and beancurd for my family. I didn't know that, Jalan Kayu becomes little india at night leh. Could see so many Indians there, drinking beers and eating their kacang.
