Today's plan was to go ECP for some cycling. It was one year ago the last time we went there for cycling. We decided to settle our lunch there before our exercise. Dear suddenly thought of going to one of the Hong Kong cafe in East Coast Rd. She remembered seeing this special cafe featured in the show.
It occupied the whole old building and is just right beside Katong Mall. There's also Waruku restaurant there too. Didn't know that place also known as Katong Village and it's quiet giving a serene feeling. The best thing about this restaurant is they don't charge 10% service charge!!

Heng ah, just as we were having our late lunch, the rain stopped liao. Thought today we couldn't cycle at ECP liao. The nice cooling weather just made it a perfect day for cycling. We got the 2 persons bike so that we could chat along the way. Found that the other end of ECP (towards Changi) has changed. There got a small beautiful garden with a tower where you can push your bike up there and enjoy the view.

After cycling, we went to Beach Rd to have Bak Kut Teh! So long never go there liao...We even squeeze some time to go shopping at Bugis Village. Dear bought a nice polo t-shirt for me...really like it. I really enjoyed my Saturday with dear, lots of unplanned but yet so enjoyable. This is what I called spontaneous events!
