Visualisation

Visualisation currently is the hottest topic in IT server industry. It allows one physical system to run multiple operating systems and have alot of benefits like saving cost, running legacy applications, test out new applications in a control environment. Currently VMware is a leader in this market and my bank is actually trying out now. Next testing software on my list is Windows Server 2008 currently in beta 3. Installed this software in Virtual PC 2007 (I have Windows XP running in VPC 2007 too) but I think my system can't take it..hahaha..damn bloody slow sia..see the cursor turning round and round really makes me want to sleep immediately liao. You need plenty of memory to run the host OS and guest OS, not to forget HDD space too. Maybe it's time to upgrade to 4GB of memory and 1 terabyte of hdd!
