Went to Chinatown to walk walk then after that went to buy bak kwa for my future in-laws. The queue wasn't long and we thought it should be very fast. We were dead wrong! In the end we waited about 2.5hrs just to buy 3x 500g of bak kwa, thanks to those aunties in front who bought so many boxes. Initially just wanted to buy for her family, in the end, I also bought one for my family too since we waited so long and I must definitely try it. When it's about our turn, that ah-ma decided to go for her dinner. We thought the people inside will help out to take orders but they only know how to bbq. We have to wait another more than half hr for ah-ma to come back. I guess that would be last time doing it liao, NO MORE QUEUEING FOR BAK KWA!
Verdict: The bak kwa is really delicious and sinful! It's very oily, juicy and the meat are thick. Somemore 1kg only costs $36!! Where to find so cheap yet so good bak kwa.
