Japan 2009 (6 - 14 Nov) Day 2

I have been so lazy in blogging that this blog is gonna be full of cobweb liao lah. After procrastinating for so long, finally here's my entry for my Japan trip..hehehe. I will slowly update the rest of the Japan later. If you want to see the photos but don't wanna read my rubbish, you can go straight to my Facebook. The first day was spent in the plane cos I took the night flight and reached Osaka the next morning, hence I will go straight to second day.

On arriving Kansai Airport (Osaka), one minor incident happened. We bought some local snacks for someone in Japan. Wendy passed it to a Japanese air stewardess and told her to keep it in fridge. When we asked for the snacks, they were unable to find it!!! Cos we couldn't remember who we passed it to, they denied they received it. We suspected she threw it away thinking we asked her to. It was just a miscommunication and it was a bad start for us. However, the incident definitely wouldn't dampen our holiday mood. We took the coach bus to Osaka Castle. It was damn nice cooling weather with very blue sky. Perfect for photography freak like me.

Next we went to Shinsaibaishi, a shopping district in Osaka. Because we were there early morning, most of the shops were closed! I wonder why we were here in the first place with nothing to shop sia. Since both of us haven't taken breakfast yet, we tried out their MacDonald. Nothing special about their Mac, just that we sat at the wrong place where all the smokers were puffing happily.

Next destination would be Universal Studio. Wendy has a cousin who was married to a Japanese and she has been staying in Osaka for some years already (rem the lost snacks I mentioned earlier? It was for her). Since we came so far to here, Wendy definitely have to meet her. We decided to meet her @ our hotel near Universal Studio cos this is the only time we could meet. She travelled 2 hours just to come see us for 2 hours and both of us were very touched. She then treated us to Japanese restaurant and ordered quite a number of dishes. We had a good chat and when she comes to Singapore next year, we definitely going to treat her

Yummy! The white sashimi is actually blowfish and need professional chef to remove the poisonous part.

We ended our day in a nice cosy hotel with a view facing Universal Studio, nice =) Photos taken in Universal Studio can be found in my Facebook.
